Senior Construction Administrator

Job Summary
Senior Construction Administrator to manage project specifications and construction documents, oversee contract and construction documentation, and coordinate RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, and closeout activities. Responsibilities include performing onsite construction inspections (approximately 2–3 days/week), preparing field observation reports, maintaining electronic plan sets with the design team, assisting with project schedules and logs, and mentoring design staff on constructability feedback. Requires proficiency with Adobe/Bluebeam and Microsoft Office, and electronic document management systems such as Newforma or Procore, with excellent communication and organizational skills to coordinate with internal staff and external clients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 10+ years of experience as a design engineer or construction administration professional or skilled tradesperson
- Proficiency with Adobe/Bluebeam and Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Proficiency with Electronic Document Management Systems such as Newforma or Procore
- Demonstrated capability coordinating with multiple design team members to manage construction related correspondence
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to listen and understand internal customer expectations
- Ability to manage schedules to meet critical deadlines
