Job Summary

Drive connectivity development, integration, and lifecycle management for LVT products, partnering with cross-functional teams to bring platforms from concept to production. Lead technical investigations, proof-of-concepts, and vendor evaluations while establishing reference architectures, design standards, and operational documentation. Mentor engineers through design reviews and knowledge sharing, and evaluate modem modules for carrier certification and performance testing. Own firmware maintenance, carrier-driven updates, and technology refreshes. Represent connectivity in strategic discussions with leadership, product teams, and external partners. Based in American Fork, Utah, with 15% travel.

Required Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years in systems, networking, embedded connectivity, telecommunications, or related engineering experience for distributed/embedded fleets
  • Documented success in owning complex technical projects from initial concept through deployment and long-term support
  • Deep L2/L3 networking skills, including VLAN design, QoS, NAT, VRFs, policy-based routing, and carrier network DHCP/DNS nuances
  • Hands-on experience with hardware at scale, including manufacturer software platforms, API-driven automation, and fleet operations
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives and representing engineering to executives, customers, and external partners
  • Experience evaluating, integrating, testing, or supporting embedded modem modules and connected-device platforms throughout the product development lifecycle
  • Strong proficiency with automation in Python or shell scripting for configuration generation, validation, and telemetry collection
  • Deep understanding of eUICC/eSIM, multi-IMSI strategies, dual-WAN/dual-SIM failover, and cost/performance modeling
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills with a disciplined approach to change and incident management
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
