Senior Compliance Testing Analyst

Job Summary
Conduct compliance control testing activities for various complex regulatory requirements by researching regulations, developing testing steps, and executing transactional or full reviews of the compliance control environment. Document findings, root causes, and corrective action recommendations in electronic workpapers and written reports, then lead formal exit meetings with management to obtain line of business responses. Collaborate with the Compliance Testing Manager and subject matter experts to plan reviews, adjust scoping documents, and identify potential compliance issues. Perform duties with minimal oversight while maintaining ongoing communication throughout the testing process.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Law or related field
- 5+ years experience in banking combined with operations, compliance, lending, audit or relevant business experience
- Attention to detail
- Strong time management skills
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Thorough understanding of auditing/examination techniques
- General knowledge of applicable state and federal banking laws and regulations and of bank services, policies, and procedures
- Strong ability to read, analyze and interpret governmental laws, regulations and regulatory guidance
- Ability to work independently and/or in a team
- Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to define problems, analyze the variables and propose solutions
- Required competency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
- A strong technology acumen, including the ability to utilize banking systems, obtain or design reports and analyze data
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with compliance testing or internal audit experience preferred
- CRCM preferred, but not required
