Job Summary
Obtain daily work assignments from dispatch and drive service vehicles to customer locations on prescribed routes. Prepare workspaces for safe inspections, then perform advanced testing, equipment certification, and maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems. Accurately enter results into regulatory applications and maintain company vehicles, parts inventory, and testing equipment. Provide leadership and mentoring to junior Compliance Inspectors and Technicians. Requires high school diploma, four years of petroleum equipment experience, and successful completion of API Safety Certification, Class A/B operator licenses, and specific manufacturer training courses. On-call rotation applies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background screening, and motor vehicle record check
- Proficiency with basic computer skills including Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
- Ability to learn industry-specific software applications
- Ability to work independently without constant direct supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, fellow team members and supervisors
- Minimum of 4 years' work experience with petroleum related equipment
- API Safety Certification (during onboarding)
- Class A and Class B Operator certifications for the state(s) in which they operate via online course within 30 days of employment
- PEI RP-300, RP-900 & RP-1200 online training within 45 days of employment
- JF Petro Group Service Training NTO (New to the Organization) and NTI (New to the Industry) courses within 90 days of employment
- Tank monitor manufacturer's level 2/3 courses
- Tank, line, line leak detector and air testing certifications from equipment manufacturer and regulatory agency as required
- Ability to repetitively lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, stand 8-10 hours per day

- Additional manufacturer courses including but not limited to Red Jacket, Franklin Fueling, OPW, EMCO, Healy, etc.
