Job Summary
Conduct practical, risk-based compliance guidance for the EMEA ETF business across the full product lifecycle, from new launches to ongoing development. Review new product proposals and investor-facing materials like PRIIPs KIDs to identify regulatory considerations and ensure alignment with applicable requirements. Advise on changes to existing ETF products, including governance and regulatory implications, while monitoring industry developments to support business readiness initiatives. Deliver training sessions on emerging risks and compliance best practices, partnering with Legal, Product, and Distribution teams to promote effective risk management. Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, championing fair customer outcomes and sound governance practices within the asset management industry.
Required Qualifications
- Proven Compliance experience within the asset management industry
- Ideally in an ETF, UCITS, or Compliance Advisory environment
- Strong understanding of fund structures, ETF products, and the regulatory framework governing investment funds, particularly in Ireland
- Solid knowledge of relevant regulations, industry standards, and Central Bank of Ireland requirements
- Experience advising business stakeholders on product governance, regulatory change, and compliance matters
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
- Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical, business-focused advice
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence and challenge constructively at all levels
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to build trusted relationships across global teams
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Spending at least four full days each week working in the role's advertised office
