Job Summary
Design, implement, and continuously improve a comprehensive charitable gaming compliance program encompassing all technical and operational requirements. Develop policies, procedures, and internal controls aligned with applicable statutes, while overseeing monitoring, auditing, and reporting functions. Ensure timely submission of regulatory filings across all licensed jurisdictions and represent the company before charitable gaming regulators in administrative proceedings. Supervise a team of compliance professionals, mentor staff, and deliver training programs. Collaborate with finance, operations, technology, and government affairs on compliance-integrated business strategies. Monitor legislative changes and emerging trends to advise on legal implications of new products, game launches, and market expansions.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Ability to become licensed in Ohio
- 10+ years of legal and/or compliance experience focused on gaming or another highly regulated industry
- Demonstrated experience managing gaming compliance in multiple jurisdictions
- Experience with drafting compliance policies and procedures
- Exceptional analytical, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to convey complex legal concepts to non-legal audiences
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority matters simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- High degree of professional integrity, discretion, and sound judgment
- Proficiency in compliance management systems and AI tools
- Willingness to be based out of Cleveland, Ohio headquarters
- Must successfully pass a confidential pre-employment drug screening
