Job Summary
Senior Compliance and Continuous Improvement Manager responsible for leading enterprise-wide development and implementation of standardized environmental policies, driving data-informed compliance and sustainability initiatives, and mentoring Environmental Managers. Role emphasizes implementing an environmental management system (non-certified), leveraging data visualization and analytics (e.g., Power BI, Snowflake) to support senior leadership in continuous improvement, and ensuring regulatory alignment across Perdue Agribusiness. Travel to remote facilities and offices is required. The position includes oversight of environmental programs, risk reduction, and operational performance improvements, with leadership responsibilities and cross-functional collaboration. Education and experience: BS in environmental science or related field, 9-15 years of experience, strong knowledge of environmental regulations, air permitting, stack testing, and energy use; proficiency with data tools and Microsoft Office; willingness to travel. Salary range: $114,000 - $170,000 per year, with annual bonus potential, plus comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent related work experience in environmental science or a related discipline
- 9-15 years of related work experience
- Technical experience in environmental regulations, air compliance, air permitting, stack testing science and methodology, project management, and energy utility consumption
- Technical experience with environmental management systems
- Demonstrated competency in problem-solving, negotiating, managing people, and establishing and meeting schedules
- Progressive leadership experience dealing with environmental compliance-related items
- Ability to travel to remote facilities and offices for meetings
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data tools such as PowerBI
