Job Summary
Senior Compliance Analyst responsible for delivering high-quality regulatory compliance analysis, guidance, and training across Echelon’s insurance operations in Canada. You will stay current on insurance and financial services regulations, develop and report on compliance key risk indicators, assist in building compliance infrastructure and policies, and coach business partners on best practices. You will draft memoranda and communications for regulators, support regulatory reporting, and collaborate with governance and control functions to embed a culture of compliance. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and ongoing monitoring of regulatory requirements to support strategic business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in insurance operations (Underwriting, Claims, etc) and/or regulatory compliance role in a Canadian insurance company or brokerage
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint
