Job Summary
Interpret evolving global regulations and translate technical IT requirements into actionable compliance strategies for internal projects and new market expansions. Lead regulatory considerations throughout the project lifecycle, liaise with business units to ensure adherence in each jurisdiction, and interface with external regulatory bodies to produce high-calibre documentation for submission. Identify non-conformities within the business, escalate issues appropriately, and participate in external audits as required. Provide internal consultancy on regulatory matters, deliver training and knowledge transfer across the business, and act as a point of contact for junior colleagues. Manage workload with full ownership of complex tasks, making informed decisions in ambiguous situations while maintaining a pragmatic approach to governance and risk.
Required Qualifications
- Expertise in interpreting and applying complex regulatory frameworks
- Proven ability to research, analyse, and summarise information into actionable advice
- Strong critical thinking skills to determine appropriate courses of action
- Technical literacy with an understanding of IT principles, systems management, or implementation
