Senior Compensation Specialist

Job Summary
Conduct advanced compensation analyses, maintain global compensation systems, and ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations within the international energy and drilling industry. Evaluate, analyze, and interpret compensation data, HR metrics, and workforce trends to support strategic business decisions, while preparing recurring and ad hoc reports for leadership. Monitor Workday data for accuracy, performing regular audits and validating change requests to ensure data integrity. Analyze market data and compensation trends specific to the industry to determine competitive positioning and recommend new hire salary placements, promotional increases, and market adjustments. Collaborate with managers to develop job descriptions and provide guidance to payroll, accounting, and other departments during annual merit, bonus, and equity cycles.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics or a related field of study
- Five (5) years of compensation experience with reporting and compliance requirements
- Two (2) years of experience in the energy/drilling industry with expatriate compensation, international compensation, and/or stock plan administration
- Knowledge of compensation concepts, laws, regulations and Workday
