Senior Compensation Analyst (Part Time Contractor)

Job Summary
Senior Compensation Analyst to implement, manage and improve global pay and benefits programs in a part-time contract role. Responsibilities include defining a fair and competitive total compensation package aligned with company strategy, developing a compensation philosophy, utilizing data-driven techniques for direct and indirect compensation plans, supporting Recruitment, Finance, Legal, and Training & Resourcing teams, participating in salary and labor market surveys, reporting trends and best practices, assessing competitor plans, and providing SME support to stakeholders. Requires experience with Workday compensation modules, advanced Excel skills, familiarity with Mercer/BDO surveys, and strong benchmarking capabilities. Preference for experience in tech or pharma high-growth environments; degree level or equivalent education with potential postgraduate qualification; English proficiency; CPP certification is an asset.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Workday Core and Advanced Compensation modules (configuration, data management, annual cycle support)
- Strong proficiency in Excel for advanced data analysis
- Familiarity with Mercer and BDO compensation surveys (data preparation, validation, submission)
- Proven capability in job matching and benchmarking using market data from multiple vendors
- Knowledge of benchmarking methodologies to ensure market competitiveness
- Educated to degree level or equivalent (ideally with post-graduate qualification)
- Certified Compensation Professional certification is a plus
- Ability to work with large datasets and translate insights into actionable outcomes
- Effective collaboration with HR, Reward, and business stakeholders
