Job Summary
Lead the administration of compensation programs including bonus, commissions, stock, and base salary while evaluating pay structures to ensure external competitiveness and internal equity. Analyze positions, prepare job descriptions, and review job evaluations to maintain accurate classification across the organization. Participate in salary surveys, collect market data, and conduct analysis on special projects such as incentive compensation, sales compensation, and equity. Present findings and recommendations to business leaders and HR Business Partners, ensuring alignment and well-informed decision-making. Evaluate current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and develop training to support program communication. Act as a trusted compensation consultant to provide guidance and leadership on projects, including mentoring junior team members. Ensure compliance by investigating and recommending resolutions for compensation-related issues.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
- 5+ years of experience working in compensation
- A degree in Business Management or Human Resource Management (preferred)
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation (a plus)
- Experience managing HR-related projects
- Strong consulting and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate clearly at all levels of the organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A strong mathematical aptitude with sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to analyze data and create meaningful insights
- Location: Richardson, TX (This position is 100% onsite at our headquarters in Richardson, TX, requiring attendance in-office 5 days a week, Monday-Friday)
