Job Summary
Oversee rent collection, leasing, certifications, inspections, and HUD compliance while supervising on-site staff and managing tenant relations, evictions, and budgeting tasks. Conduct property inspections, coordinate repairs, and manage vendor relations, ensuring accurate documentation and secure records. Lead marketing efforts through surveys and outreach, respond to emergencies, and implement OSHA and IIPP safety programs. Manage staff schedules, training, performance feedback, and team meetings to maintain fiscal, physical, and social integrity. This role supports MidPen's mission of providing safe, affordable housing and fostering diverse communities in Northern California.
Required Qualifications
- Skilled in budgeting, variance reporting, problem-solving, and supervising diverse teams
- Knowledgeable in HUD, ADA, DFEH, and other regulatory guidelines
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and YARDI
- Must have a valid Real Estate license
- Must have a reliable insured vehicle
- Must meet MidPen's driving requirements
- Physically able to perform office tasks and occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs)
- High School diploma or GED
- Two continuous years or more of property management experience, preferably in affordable housing, or four years of unrelated General Manager experience
