Senior Communications Officer

Senior Communications Officer responsible for leading communications strategy, execution, and internal strategic guidance for high-priority initiatives across the Walton Family Foundation and affiliated entities. The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution across crisis response, strategic planning, internal alignment, grant communications and grantmaking, and stakeholder engagement. Key duties include drafting leadership materials and rapid response statements, coordinating internal meetings, developing messaging frameworks and briefing materials, managing communications-related grants initiatives, supporting foundation speaking engagements, and partnering with senior leadership and family stakeholders on high-sensitivity projects while ensuring consistent positioning and managing reputational risks.
