Senior Commodity Market Analyst

Lead analytical coverage of assigned recycled materials sectors, including market conditions, pricing trends, and policy and regulatory developments. Manage multi-month research projects from scoping through delivery, including Industry Yearbook contributions, commissioned studies, and division-specific analyses. Develop and maintain data products such as trackers, dashboards, and recurring market briefs that support departmental and member-facing deliverables. Conduct secondary research on industry markets, pricing, and policy developments; contribute to department-wide analysis of domestic and international trade as needed. Support and conduct primary research efforts, including member surveys, interviews, and benchmarking studies. Analyze commodity pricing data, trade statistics, economic indicators, industry trends, and other market intelligence to identify opportunities and emerging developments. Produce clear, well-designed research products, including written reports, slide presentations, and data visualizations. Present research findings to members and stakeholders at division meetings, committee calls, chapter events, and select industry conferences. Provide timely sector-specific data and analysis to support ReMA's policy and advocacy work. Collaborate closely with the Chief Economist and Research team to ensure analytical consistency, accuracy, and alignment with organizational priorities.
