Job Summary
The Senior Commissioning Manager - Mission Critical is responsible for leading commissioning strategies across multiple projects, overseeing commissioning managers and agents to ensure project objectives are met. The role involves developing detailed commissioning plans, coordinating with design and construction teams, managing the commissioning process for critical systems, and collaborating with user groups for smooth transitions post-construction. Key responsibilities include managing testing processes, documentation, safety standards, and ensuring compliance with industry best practices. Candidates should have extensive experience in commissioning, strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, and effective communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years commissioning or mission critical systems experience
- Strong understanding of industry standards and guidelines related to construction and commissioning
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and building controls systems
- Campus or hyperscale programs preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Program-level leadership experience
- Owner/Operator-side commissioning experience preferred
- CxAlloy preferred
- Experience with commissioning tools, equipment, and software applications
- Effective project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders including clients, user groups, and commissioning agents
- Proficient use of all Microsoft Office programs
