Job Summary
Senior Commercial Roofing Estimator responsible for preparing accurate take-offs and detailed estimates for commercial roofing projects, analyzing plans and specifications to identify requirements and risks, collaborating with project management to develop competitive bids, communicating with clients and subcontractors, managing bid documents, staying updated on materials and labor costs, participating in bid reviews, and supporting pre-construction activities. Requires 5+ years in commercial roofing estimating, proficiency with estimating software, deep knowledge of roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, Mod-Bit, Built Up, Metal), strong analytical and communication skills, and a valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial roofing industry experience as an Estimator
- Strong knowledge of estimating software
- In-depth understanding of roofing materials, installation methods and industry standards
- Excellent analytical, mathematical and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software
- Technical knowledge of various roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, Mod-Bit, Built Up, Metal)
- Experience bidding on Government, Industrial and Healthcare facilities
- Ability to efficiently read and interpret plans and specifications
- Valid driver's license
