Job Summary
Senior Commercial Risk Manager APAC leads pole/regional risk and commercial strategy for GE Vernova's SCS in APAC, guiding risk assessment across technical, execution and commercial pillars; lead ITO proposals for complex deals; coordinate cross-functional deal teams; manage negotiations and risk-mitigations; shape scope, pricing, and risk-reward balance; use Salesforce for pipeline and provide leadership in deal reviews with senior/executive leadership to ensure alignment of commercial strategy and risk management across the region.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering/Business Administration or equivalent knowledge
- Fluent in English
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in industrial, engineering, technology, infrastructure, energy, manufacturing, or related sectors
- Experience in Project Risk Management (Technical, Execution, and Commercial Risks)
- Strong business acumen, negotiation, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and align cross-functional and virtual teams
- Experience with contract drafting – managing both commercial and legal terms within a customer agreement
- Strong knowledge of public tendering processes, regional procurement rules & regulations
- Willingness to travel, up to 20%
