Senior Commercial Risk Manager APAC

Job Summary
Senior Commercial Risk Manager APAC leads pole/regional risk and commercial strategy, advising senior management on regulatory shifts and mitigation of business exposure; drives cross-functional, end-to-end deal strategy for complex opportunities, leads risk assessments across Technical, Execution, and Commercial pillars, and oversees bid governance, negotiations, and deal optimization in support of GE Vernova's Core & Complex opportunities across the APAC region. The role governs deal risk, pricing strategy, collaboration with Sales, Legal, Tax, Finance, and Engineering, and utilizes Salesforce and other tools to manage risk profiles and deal visibility. Requires extensive experience in risk management, tendering, and cross-functional leadership, with willingness to travel up to 20% and fluency in English.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering/Business Administration or equivalent knowledge
- Fluent in English
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in industrial, engineering, technology, infrastructure, energy, manufacturing, or related sectors
- Experience in Project Risk Management (Technical, Execution, and Commercial Risks)
- Strong business acumen, negotiation, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to lead, influence, and align cross-functional and virtual teams
- Experience with contract drafting – managing both commercial and legal terms within a customer agreement
- Strong knowledge of public tendering processes, regional procurement rules & regulations
