Job Summary
Senior Commercial Manager Stadsverwarming Gent leads all commercial activities to maximize the value of delivered heat and ensure profitability and growth of the Gent heat network. Combines strategic insight with hands-on leadership to develop new business, strengthen client relationships, and lead the team to top results. Responsible for managing and developing client relations, timely renegotiation of contracts, overseeing metering data and accurate invoicing, analyzing performance with clear internal and external reporting, taking ownership of the P&L, steering pricing strategy via a pricing committee, ensuring regulatory reporting compliance (CREG, VREG, FOD Economie), pro-active issue resolution, identifying new customers and closing contracts within budget and timing, and driving a high-performing, compliant commercial operation.
Required Qualifications
- masterdiploma in a technical or economic direction or equal by experience
- several years of commercial experience
- strong business insight
- Dutch language with good English and basic French
- works independently under pressure
- decisive leadership and ability to inspire a team
- analytical thinking and ability to connect concepts and generate innovative ideas
