Job Summary
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of technical specialists to ensure efficient cost and commercial management services across projects valued between £10m and £100m. Manage the financial performance of these projects throughout their life cycle, taking responsibility for costs, schedules, and efficiency to meet profit and budgetary targets. Lead commercial aspects of projects across the organization, support project management teams in delivering work within budget, and build strong relationships with senior clients to identify new business opportunities. Assure compliance with contracts, analyze complex information to improve long-term service performance, and drive innovation through new system improvements. Act as a lead technical expert providing strategic advice to senior managers on cost and commercial matters.
Required Qualifications
- Possess the skills and experience to actively support the internal team and manage resources on technically complex projects/programme of works typically ranging between £10m and £100m+
- Relevant professional experience, including of delivering large and complex projects across an entire project life cycle
- Proven ability to manage, motivate and lead large teams, and demonstrable leadership ability
- Experience of building and utilising client relationships at executive level, including the ability to act as a trusted advisor
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Relevant professional qualification or chartered status
- CSCS card holder
