Job Summary
Senior Commercial HVAC Technician responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing commercial HVAC/R systems in Monterey. Tasks include diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues; performing system start-ups, commissioning, preventative maintenance, and repairs; working with RTUs, AHUs, VRF/VRV systems, chillers, package units, and mini-splits; interfacing with BAS/DDC controls; reading wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints; maintaining service documentation and communicating with internal teams and customers.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Commercial HVAC Technician (service and/or install)
- 2+ years of experience working with commercial refrigeration systems
- EPA 608 Certification (Universal preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of electrical systems (AC/DC) and HVAC controls/BAS systems
- Experience troubleshooting RTUs, AHUs, VRF systems, and related commercial equipment
- Ability to work independently in the field and manage service calls
