Job Summary
Senior Commercial Glazing Project Manager to oversee multiple commercial glazing projects from preconstruction through final completion, provide leadership and mentorship to project-management staff, manage schedules and budgets, coordinate with owners/general contractors/architects/vendors, review contracts and submittals, monitor costs and profitability, coordinate with field operations, identify risks and implement proactive solutions, and ensure safety and client satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of commercial construction project management experience with significant commercial glazing experience
- Experience managing commercial glazing projects including storefront, curtain wall, entrances, windows, and related glazing systems
- Leadership experience supervising, mentoring, or developing Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, or project teams
- Strong knowledge of commercial glazing project execution from preconstruction through closeout
- Experience managing multiple concurrent commercial glazing projects
- Strong understanding of project budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, contract administration, and change order management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
- Experience using AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, and Procore
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture is welcomed; equivalent commercial glazing project management experience is equally valued
- Ability to travel to active commercial construction job sites
- Ability to walk active job sites, climb ladders, and navigate varying terrain
- Ability to work outdoors during site visits in varying weather conditions
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
