Job Summary
Senior Commercial Credit Analyst/Underwriter responsible for financial-based analysis and underwriting of credits for large/complex loans or relationships within a bank. Performs analysis on financial statements, creates credit spreads, mortgage/real estate cash flow projections, and credit memos; participates in loan committee meetings; mentors Analyst I & II; provides oversight to ensure timely, accurate work product; and completes required compliance training.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, business administration or related field
- 7 years related experience and/or training; 4 years related management experience or equivalent combination
- strong analytical abilities; financial statement analysis; proficiency with spreadsheets and financial modeling
- ability to mentor others and oversee quality of work product
- proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- able to work in a bank lending environment and understand compliance training (BSA/AML)
- ability to generate financial spreads and credit memos; participate in loan committee
