Job Summary
Review and negotiate customer contracts for the go-to-market team across the Americas, including LATAM. Lead complex cross-border transactions with sophisticated counterparties while monitoring regulatory and compliance developments. Draft, negotiate, and advise on commercial software and SaaS agreements for enterprise customers, partners, and resellers. Develop scalable contracting workflows, policies, and templates to support company growth. Report to the Associate General Counsel as an early member of the legal team, providing business-oriented legal advice to sales and executive leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Strong academic credentials
- Membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
- Eligible to practice in your state of residence
- 6-9 years of relevant experience
- Strong training at a top-rated national or international law firm
- Proven experience drafting, negotiating, closing, and advising on complex commercial software and SaaS agreements with enterprise customers, partners, and resellers across multiple jurisdictions
- Strong understanding of commercial legal issues related to SaaS and software licensing, professional services, and other go-to-market programs
- Strong familiarity with agreements governed by California or New York choice of law and legal provisions
- Excellent judgment
- Strong business orientation
- Ability to translate legal risk into practical commercial advice
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and management skills
- Ability to build trust with sales teams, cross-functional stakeholders, and customers
- Exceptional attention to detail
