Senior Commercial Counsel, Procurement

Job Summary
Advise on complex commercial transactions by structuring and negotiating agreements ranging from off-the-shelf SaaS contracts to multi-jurisdictional business unit outsourcings. Partner cross-functionally with stakeholders across Tech, Marketing, People, Finance, and Supply Chain to deliver pragmatic legal advice on strategic projects and procurement needs. Lead legal strategy in working groups by representing Legal on steering committees to navigate emerging challenges and regulatory changes. Synthesize risk for executive leadership through Executive and Signatory notes that translate complex legal risks into actionable business insights. Upskill the business with proactive training on evolving topics including AI risk management, vendor compliance, and financial regulations. Drive operational excellence by advocating for legal best practices and improving internal contracting processes.
Required Qualifications
- Legal Qualification & Depth: Qualified solicitor in England & Wales
- significant experience providing commercial, strategic legal advice to international businesses

Desired Qualifications

- Previous in-house legal experience within a high-growth technology business or an internationally managed/US-owned corporate environment
