Job Summary
Paint vehicles using base coats, tri-coats, solid, metallic, and clear coats while blending adjacent panels and performing paint corrections. Match and mix paint colors, apply water-based paint in booths, and execute final sanding and buffing on low-mileage, late-model cars. Work in high-tech Inspection Centers using state-of-the-art tools, operating equipment to lift up to 60 pounds independently. Maintain safety protocols with protective gear including face shields, goggles, and gloves in a fast-paced production environment. Mandatory overtime may be required to meet customer delivery expectations.
Required Qualifications
- minimum of 5 years of professional automotive painting experience
- highly skilled in painting (base coats, tri-coats, solid, metallic, and clear coats)
- blending adjacent panels
- paint correcting vehicles
- Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools
- must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently
- at least 18 years of age
- possess a valid driver's license
- ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment
- ability to work in excessive weather conditions (heat/cold)
- ability to use safety equipment that may include but not limited to face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments and equipment
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
