Job Summary
Guide high-potential Chinese students through their college application journey from Grade 12, helping them define personalized roadmaps for success. Manage a caseload of 15-20 students, assisting with extracurricular selection, target university identification, and final application material preparation. Meet students in person and online, occasionally traveling to partner schools in other cities. Work within a team of eight dedicated counselors at our Shanghai headquarters, conducting all student interactions in English with multilingual support available.
Required Qualifications
- Strong academic background with a minimum of a bachelor's degree
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- The ability to live and work in China for at least 2 years
- A commitment to excellence, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to work efficiently in an international environment
Desired Qualifications
- prior experience in U.S. college admissions or international counseling
- passionate about mentoring young people and helping them reach their academic goals
- proficiency in Chinese
