Senior Collections Officer

Senior Collections Officer responsible for managing a dedicated portfolio of overdue commercial accounts in Australia. Conducts inbound and outbound collection calls and emails with customers, issues default demand and repossession notices as required, and evaluates hardship requests with empathy and professionalism. Investigates and reviews account data and past collection activities before contacting debtors, maintains accurate records throughout the collections process, and collaborates with colleagues to meet team and departmental goals. Requires strong communication skills, knowledge of government regulations relevant to commercial collections, and the ability to handle a high volume of accounts with attention to detail.
