Job Summary
Senior-level collections role focused on highly complex A/R portfolio management, overseeing large and high-value invoices, escalation of delinquent accounts, and collaboration with Sales and Customer Service to optimize cash recovery. Responsibilities include maintaining a high-volume and high-dollar portfolio, managing disputes and refunds, producing reports on delinquency and cash collection, driving process improvements in accounts receivable, training new staff, and influencing cross-functional teams to meet DSO and collection targets. Requires experience in collections processes, ability to analyze payment trends, and proficiency with SAP/Oracle/JDE and MS Office; Six Sigma Yellow Belt is a plus. Role offers flexible work arrangements with remote work options up to 100% from an alternate workplace and potential travel; the position is based in San Antonio de Belén, Heredia, Costa Rica, with remote and hybrid work possibilities and alignment to local operations.
Required Qualifications
- 4 years or more of relevant experience in a Collections role
- Yellow Belt Six Sigma Certification
- Experience on collections-related systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE)
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office Suite
- C1 level English; other languages are a plus
