Job Summary
Senior Collaboration and Media Services Engineer responsible for ongoing support of SHC Collaboration Technologies, designing, implementing, and managing AV systems for projects and events; overseeing the full lifecycle of AV projects from planning to installation, testing, and maintenance; providing on-site support for live events; ensuring systems meet service metrics; developing documentation and communicating complex concepts across stakeholders; integrating AV with IT infrastructure (IP-based systems, VoIP); leading and mentoring a communications technologies service team; ensuring compliance with industry standards and CICARE customer-service guidelines; staying current on AV technologies and proposing innovative solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a work-related field/discipline from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience required
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience required
- Progressive team leadership experience
- Knowledge of ITIL framework and Lean process improvement methodologies
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work across a broad range of technologies to deliver complex solutions
- Proven experience managing IT-related projects from design through implementation and post go-live support
- Ability to articulate complex technical issues with both technicians and clients
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to coordinate project initiatives and meetings across various workgroups
- Experience leading and managing a Communication Technologies service team
- Experience developing processes to encourage knowledge sharing and collaboration
- Demonstrated mastery of portfolio-related Communication Technologies
