Job Summary
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Senior Key Workers and Support Workers while overseeing daily operations at Bryson Court. Direct line management includes staff development, rota management to ensure safe staffing, and conducting quarterly observations and annual appraisals. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to review six-monthly care plans, update weekly planners, and identify specialist needs for individuals with complex mental health and learning disabilities. Liaise with external professionals to achieve comprehensive support packages and provide written reports on complaints, accidents, and safeguarding concerns. Undertake on-call duties to ensure 24/7 service coverage. This role reports to the Supported Living Manager and requires a background in supporting people with autism and behaviours that challenge.
Required Qualifications
- Driving is essential
- Previous experience within the care sector
- Ideally in a leadership or coordination role
- Extensive knowledge and experience supporting people with complex mental health needs, learning disabilities, autism and behaviours that challenge
- Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred care
- Experience in use of behavioural strategies and de-escalation techniques
- Experience managing rotas, staffing and service delivery
- Strong understanding of outcome-focused support planning and person-centred practice
- Minimum SVQ Level 2
- Willingness to complete SVQ 3
- IT literate
- Experience of using Word and Excel
- Entitlement to work within the UK
- Background, Identity & Security checks
