Senior (CM) Construction Manager

Job Summary

Manage greenfield construction project budgets exceeding $100M and oversee full change-order processes from initiation through resolution. Interpret civil, structural, architectural, and MEP drawings to guide site activities while coordinating BIM and Primavera P6 scheduling. Lead stakeholder negotiations and maintain cost control across complex, fast-track commercial and industrial projects. Operate primarily in active data center construction environments, navigating uneven terrain and lifting up to 50 pounds as required. Utilize Procore and Bluebeam for documentation and reporting within this Veteran-owned small business focused on mission-critical infrastructure.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven track record managing greenfield construction project budgets of $100M+
  • Full change-order processes from initiation through resolution
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts (AIA, ConsensusDocs, or similar)
  • Scheduling
  • Cost control
  • Risk management
  • Experience as an owner's representative or with a sophisticated developer/GC on complex, fast-track projects
  • Ability to read and interpret civil, structural, architectural, and MEP drawings at a high level
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with Procore
  • Bluebeam
  • Primavera P6
  • BIM coordination
  • 10+ years of progressive construction management experience
  • At least 5–7 years in a senior or lead role on large-scale commercial/industrial projects
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience delivering greenfield core & shell projects
  • PMP
  • CCM
  • Valid driver's license appropriate for the role
  • Eligible to operate a motor vehicle in accordance with applicable laws
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in a professional work environment
  • Preparing written reports and documentation
  • Conveying information clearly to team members, clients, and stakeholders
  • Responding appropriately to verbal and written communications related to job duties
  • Physical ability to walk, stand, stoop, twist, bend, and climb stairs or ladders for extended periods
  • Ability to navigate uneven, unpaved, or obstructed terrain
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
  • Ability to drive between job sites and access all areas of an active construction zone
  • Ability to tolerate exposure to outdoor weather conditions, dust, and construction-related noise, vibrations, and odors
  • Ability to communicate effectively with contractors, engineers, and site personnel
  • Maintain situational awareness in high-activity environments
  • Sufficient visual acuity to read drawings, specifications, and safety signage
  • Ability to observe site activity

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Data Centers
  • PE license is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
