Job Summary
Own all technical aspects of customer environments from implementation through ongoing operations for a select portfolio of SAS Cloud customers. Oversee and approve all changes for assigned clients while consulting with customers to understand their business and drive outcomes. Collaborate with global R&D, Product, Technical Support, and Service Management teams to ensure service quality for hosted and remote managed customers. Contribute to customer success through partnerships with Cloud Service Delivery Managers and share lessons learned via a Community of Practice. This role requires fluency in French and English, Canadian security clearance eligibility, and 8+ years of enterprise technical experience including UNIX/Linux and container orchestration. Based in Ottawa, this position offers a base salary of $131,670–$160,930 CAD, with up to 10% travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in both French and English
- Eligibility to obtain Canadian government security clearance
- 8+ years of technical experience
- 3 years of experience in consulting, systems support, customer support, or training for enterprise class software
- 3 years of experience with UNIX or Linux supporting enterprise class applications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Experience with containers, container-based applications, and/or container orchestration tools
- Legal authorization to work in Canada without requiring sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms like MS Azure, AWS, GCP, or OpenShift
- Experience with Python, Ansible, or Kubernetes
- Scripting experience (bash, powershell, etc)
- Experience with SAS
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
