Job Summary
Senior Cloud Software Engineer at Caylent, fully remote with teams in Canada, the US, and Latin America. You will collaborate with Architects, Engineering Managers, and client teams to design and deliver AWS-based solutions, write production-ready code in Python/Java, build infrastructure and data pipelines, contribute to CI/CD and cloud automation, participate in Agile ceremonies, perform code reviews, and troubleshoot across development and staging environments. The role emphasizes client-facing delivery in a cloud-native, consulting/professional services context, with exposure to Generative AI technologies and a travel expectation up to 25%. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology or related field
- Experience with AWS cloud services
- Strong experience with Python and/or Java
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and cloud automation
- Experience in client-facing roles within consulting or professional services
- Experience delivering AWS solutions across cloud environments
- Ability to collaborate with Architects and Engineering Managers
- Ability to participate in Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, demos)
- Experience Troubleshooting and resolving issues in development/staging
- Experience contributing to project delivery and customer engagements
- Familiarity with Generative AI technologies
