Senior Cloud Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Job Summary
Design and manage AWS cloud-native and hybrid infrastructure, developing event-driven integrations via API Gateway, Lambda, SNS, SQS, EventBridge, Step Functions, and Glue. Build CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and AWS CodePipeline while implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation. Operate Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, Helm, and ECS Fargate, applying integration patterns such as FIFO, idempotency, and DLQs. Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance, reliability, and security, including monitoring, observability, and automated recovery. Requires 6+ years of cloud/DevOps/SRE experience with strong hands-on AWS production support. Comfortable working in UK shifts supporting UK business hours. Domain exposure in African data management, GDPR, and African GPA/data-protection requirements is essential.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of relevant Cloud/DevOps/SRE experience
- Strong hands-on AWS integration and production support experience
- Good understanding of SRE, CI/CD, automation and cloud security
- Comfortable working in UK shifts and supporting UK business hours as required
