Senior Cloud Presales Engineer

Job Summary
Conduct cloud presales activities by understanding customer requirements, evaluating criteria, and positioning consulting-led approaches. Create and propose cloud solutions that meet client objectives while maintaining relationships to produce tailored proposals. Define solution strategies, design architectures, obtain validations, and write proposals using estimation calculators for cloud services and tools. Liaise with technical teams to qualify opportunities from a technical perspective and provide architectural guidance to the Professional Services team. Review implementation of proposed solutions to ensure they meet customer goals. Work independently with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive cloud strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in cloud presales or a related technical role
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experience with virtualization technologies and infrastructure architecture
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect)
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools
