Job Summary
As a Senior Cloud Operations Developer in AVEVA's Research & Development team, you will be responsible for deployment and continuous monitoring of cloud solutions, ensuring customer requirements and SLAs are met. You will collaborate with development teams to enhance operational stability, security, and cost management of cloud solutions. This role includes managing cloud environments, overseeing deployments, ensuring compliance with security practices, and providing subject matter expertise. Required qualifications include hands-on experience with Azure or AWS, operational support knowledge, programming skills in C# or .NET, and expertise in cloud architectures. Excellent communication and analytical skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on in Azure administration, Azure APIs and tools or equivalent AWS experience
- Knowledge and experience of operational support, software development and deployment methodologies and principles
- Development experience with exposure to programming skills, e.g. C#, .NET
- Knowledge of PowerShell or Node JS scripting
- Knowledge of API, REST, microservices and serverless architectures
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
- Attention to detail, diligent and tenacious
- Excellent analysis and dissemination skills
- High degree of personal motivation and ability to self-manage
- Maintains and develops relevant industry and technology knowledge
Desired Qualifications
- Certifications in Azure and/or AWS
- Hands-on experience working within an Information Security accredited framework e.g. ISO27001, 27017/18
- Experience working in Agile software development such as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
