Job Summary
Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, build and operate an Open-Source based Private Cloud/IaaS platform. Responsibilities include engineering and operation of Linux-based systems, virtualization with KVM/QEMU/libvirt, software-defined networking with OVN/Open vSwitch, and infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, Python and Bash. The role covers CI/CD collaboration, deployment and operations processes, monitoring and observability with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, incident analysis and resolution, and close collaboration with architecture, security and platform operations to ensure stability, scalability, security and performance.
Required Qualifications
- Sehr starke Erfahrung im Linux- und System Engineering
- Fundierte Hands-on-Erfahrung mit KVM, QEMU und libvirt
- Erfahrung mit OVN und Open vSwitch im Bereich Software-defined Networking
- Tiefes Netzwerkverständnis, insbesondere L2/L3, Routing, NAT, ACLs und Netzwerksegmentierung
- Erfahrung mit Private Cloud, IaaS, Virtualisierung oder Plattforminfrastruktur
- Gute Kenntnisse in Automatisierung und Infrastructure as Code, insbesondere mit Terraform und Ansible
- Scripting-Erfahrung mit Python und/oder Bash
- Erfahrung mit CI/CD, Git und modernen Engineering-Prozessen
- Kenntnisse im Bereich Observability, Monitoring und Logging
- Security-Verständnis im Plattformumfeld, z. B. Hardening, IAM/RBAC, Zertifikate und sichere Konfigurationen
- Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse auf C2-Niveau sowie sehr gute Englischkenntnisse auf C1-Niveau
