Job Summary
Senior Computer Systems Engineer focused on designing, operating, and evolving Haworth’s identity architecture across on-premises Active Directory and cloud-based Entra environments, driving a Zero Trust approach to govern access to applications, infrastructure, and network resources. Leads complex identity projects, mentors team members, ensures security and compliance, and participates in on-call rotations. Located in Holland, MI with on-site presence required; travel up to 10% is expected. Requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 5+ years of experience with Microsoft identity platforms (AD/Entra ID) across on-prem and cloud, plus expertise in DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, CA, MFA, SAML/OIDC/OAuth/Kerberos/LDAP, and Entra ID configurations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Education Equivalency: Associate's Degree plus 2 years related experience OR 4 years related experience if no post-secondary education
- Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting and engineering Microsoft identity platforms, including Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD), across on-premises and cloud environments (3 years of experience with a Master's Degree)
- Strong foundation in identity infrastructure services, including DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Certificate Services, and related domain services
- Experience with authentication and authorization protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OIDC, Kerberos, and LDAP
- Hands-on experience configuring and managing Entra ID, including Conditional Access, MFA, tenant configuration, and resource groups
- Ability to travel within state up to 10% of the time
- Ability to participate in on call rotation which could be 1.5-2 weeks per month
