Job Summary
Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure including compute, storage, and virtual networking in a hybrid multi-cloud enterprise environment. Architect landing zones, governance structures, and identity platforms while executing workload migrations from on-premises to the cloud. Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or Ansible to automate operational tasks, and implement backup, disaster recovery, and continuity solutions. Harden systems against DoD STIGs and CIS benchmarks, support RMF assessments, and manage cost optimization and performance tuning. Monitor resources for audit compliance and ensure documentation aligns with security requirements for national security missions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline; additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- 8+ years of IT infrastructure experience, including 4+ years of hands-on cloud engineering
- Certified Cloud Solutions Architect in one or more primary CSP environments
- Deep expertise in IaaS and core platform services: virtual machines, virtual networks, storage, security, identity, policy, and RBAC
- Experience designing and operating hybrid environments, including hybrid identity and connectivity
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code and automation
- Active TS security clearance with SCI eligibility, may require a polygraph
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with classified cloud regions
- Experience applying DISA Cloud Computing SRG, FedRAMP, and DoD Impact Level (IL4/IL5/IL6/IL7) requirements
- Experience supporting RMF authorization packages (eMASS/XACTA) and security assessments in DoD/IC environments
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (AKS, Docker) and CI/CD pipelines (DevOps, GitLab)
- Experience with cloud security automation
- Experience working in SCIF or air gapped environments and with disconnected/limited-connectivity cloud patterns
- CISSP or CCSP certification
- Experience with the application of AI tools in support of cloud orchestration, instrumentation, and operational evaluation
