Job Summary
Support ALTESS commercial cloud services infrastructure by managing secure transport technologies, migrating on-premises applications to public and private clouds, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. Implement automation using Ansible, Terraform, and Python while enforcing DoD STIGs and vulnerability management protocols. Manage large-scale projects across MS Azure, AWS, and private cloud environments with a focus on secure, mission-aligned digital solutions. Requires Active DoD Secret Security Clearance, 5+ years in Computer Science or IT, and relevant cloud certifications. Salary range $100,000.00 - $140,000.00. Entarian delivers secure, mission-critical engineering solutions from deep space to defense missions.
Required Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
- CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent IA cert)
- computing environment certification (i.e. MCSD Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, etc.)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Computer Science or IT
- Mid to senior level Cloud Engineer experience
- Strong experience with IPSEC/VPN, and other secure transport technologies as well as Border Gateway Protocol
- Proven experience migrating on-premises applications to the cloud
- Understanding of network, storage, server, and application technologies
- Strong knowledge of automation concepts, tools, and scripting languages (Ansible, Terraform, Python, Powershell, Bash, Puppet, Chef, etc.)
- Working knowledge of code repositories tools such as Git
- Working knowledge of DoD STIGs, and IA Vulnerability Management (IAVM)
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline experience such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or AWS CodeDeploy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience effectively managing multiple large-scale projects
