Job Summary
Senior Cloud Engineer to design and implement cloud solutions in a multi-cloud environment (Azure, AWS, and GCP). Responsible for provisioning automation using Terraform, PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible, and related tools; maintain security, availability, and disaster recovery for applications across cloud platforms; create documentation for changes and new technologies; communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders; collaborate with solution architects to improve performance, scalability, reliability, and resilience; participate in incident/problem management and ensure ISO/SOC compliance; travel internationally to other SailPoint offices as needed. The role requires 5-8 years of enterprise experience, at least two CSP certifications, and strong scripting/automation capabilities, with a BS or MS degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
Required Qualifications
- 5-8 years experience as a Cloud Engineer in an enterprise environment
- Strong technical knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
- Practical experience operating and managing cloud platforms
- At least 2 CSP professional certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, Infrastructure Administrator)
- Two or more years scripting/automation experience using Terraform, Jenkins, Perl, Python, PowerShell, etc. to develop AWS, GCP, or Azure environments as code
- Three or more years of experience working as a Systems Administrator
- Good understanding of networking, firewalls, load balancers, and databases
- Experience with Linux and Windows Server OS, Active Directory/Entra ID
- Certificates and DNS knowledge
- Strong communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to self-learn and work independently
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience
