Job Summary
Lead day-2 management and optimization of cloud-managed database platforms across AWS, Azure, and GCP; own incidents, performance optimization, backup/restore validation, security/compliance posture, and coordination of platform changes. Mentor cloud engineers, follow ITSM/change-control processes, and collaborate with client teams on production operations, readiness, and improvements. Proficient in SQL and database fundamentals; experience with relational and NoSQL engines (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Oracle) in managed cloud services; strong automation, scripting, monitoring, and cloud-native tooling; familiar with certifications and multi-cloud support; travel as required.
