Senior Cloud Developer

Senior Cloud Developer responsible for designing, developing, and supporting cloud-based applications within HPE’s cloud portfolio. This role emphasizes hands-on coding, end-to-end feature ownership, and the ability to operate independently while providing technical guidance to peers. It is an onsite role in Roseville, CA with a hybrid schedule (average 2 days per week from an HPE office). Key responsibilities include translating requirements into technical designs, contributing to solution design, participating in code and design reviews, collaborating with product managers and other engineering teams, and participating in agile practices. Required skills include Go (Golang) and/or Python programming, cloud-native development, microservices, and Kubernetes; strong debugging and testing capabilities; effective written and verbal communication. Education and experience call for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field and roughly 7–10+ years in professional software development. The role emphasizes ownership, mentorship, and the ability to work across teams in a dynamic environment.
