Job Summary
Design and implement cloud solution components using AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms within a DevOps framework to support client modernization efforts. Manage container applications and orchestrate network operations using Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible to automate server configurations and CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with cloud architects and stakeholders to define technical solutions for legacy platform modernization and new application development. Leverage internal labs to explore innovative approaches to complex national security problems while maintaining TS/SCI security clearance. Gain access to extensive training resources and mentorship to develop expertise in infrastructure-as-code and automation tools.
Required Qualifications
- current and active TS/SCI security clearance
- 12+ years of experience professionally with IT systems
- 5+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- 3+ years of experience with building, deployment, release automation, or orchestration for the US Government
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code environments, including activities around the automated server or network configurations, large-scale software deployments, or monitoring and testing, including continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
- Experience with automation tools, including Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
- Experience with automating system configurations and orchestrating network operations and DevOps pipelines, scaling, releases, and day-to-day system operations in Cloud environments
- Experience in working within and managing Git-based version control systems, including Gitlab and Github
- HS Diploma or GED
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with identifying and implementing automation to improve user experience (UX)
- Experience with scripting in Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby
- Experience with system integration using a variety of protocols, including JSON, REST, and XML
- Experience with leveraging JSON, YAML, or XML for configuration
- Experience with DevOps and Agile methodologies
- Experience with documenting an as-is state of the environment, perform a gap analysis and produce artifacts that articulate options and recommendations preferred
- Experience with containerization, including OpenShift, Docker, or Kubernetes
- Experience with managing personal project priorities and deliverables
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Cloud Certification, including AWS, Certified Solutions Architect Associate Certification, Google Certified Professional – Cloud Architect, or MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure
