Job Summary
Senior Cloud Architect, Field Engineering (GenAI Focus) to lead hands-on GenAI engagements and AWS-native AI/data solutions for customer-facing delivery. Translate goals into practical architectures and implementation plans; own technical execution from discovery to delivery; build production-ready GenAI architectures using AWS services; drive adoption, expand existing deployments, and collaborate with AWS partner teams. Develop repeatable plays and reusable assets, contribute to playbooks, templates, and adoption funding workflows, and maintain clear visibility into active work, risks, and success criteria. Strong emphasis on GenAI workloads, integration with Kubernetes, and a partnership-driven delivery model to scale AI outcomes across regions.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in customer-facing cloud architecture, technical consulting, solutions delivery, or field engineering
- Hands-on experience with AWS in real customer environments
- Working knowledge of modern AI and GenAI architectures on AWS (Amazon Bedrock, retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, agentic AI)
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (AWS CDK or similar) for deploying AI workloads
- Ability to translate customer goals into architectures and delivery plans
- Experience leading workshops, discovery sessions, or technical POVs
- Strong judgment in ambiguous environments; ability to prioritize and move work forward
- Comfortable working across sales, delivery, customer success, product, and partner stakeholders
- Natural ownership mentality: escalate early, resolve fast, own the outcome
- Bonus: experience with GenAI workshops, MAP, reusable assets, or SageMaker in production
- AWS certifications or experience with DoiT products and related cloud modernization
- Proven ability to operate in a customer-facing delivery-heavy role
