Job Summary

Senior Cloud Administrator responsible for the day-to-day operation, security, and continuous improvement of SIS's cloud and infrastructure environment. Administers cloud applications, identity platforms, endpoint management, and network/security tooling while leading the implementation of next-generation technologies supporting a cloud-first, Zero-Trust strategy. The role emphasizes deep macOS administration (approximately 90%), ITIL-aligned operations, and mentoring junior staff. Responsibilities include administering Google Workspace, Box, AWS, and Azure; managing identity across Active Directory/Entra ID with IdP solutions (Okta, Ping) for SSO/MFA and automated lifecycle provisioning; overseeing JAMF-based macOS management and security tooling (SentinelOne, Windows MDM); modernizing the network with Cisco Meraki; applying Zero-Trust with centralized logging and SIEM integration; contributing to ISO 27001/SOC 2 compliance and policy/runbook development; and partnering with leadership on technology roadmap execution.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field
  • 7+ years of progressive systems administration experience
  • Experience administering cloud and SaaS platforms (Google Workspace, Box, AWS, Azure) in a macOS environment (~90% Mac) with some Windows
  • Experience with identity and access management (Active Directory/Entra ID) and modern IdP (Okta, Ping, JumpCloud, or similar) with SSO, MFA, and automated provisioning
  • Strong knowledge of endpoint management and security tooling (JAMF, SentinelOne) and vulnerability management
  • Familiarity with ITIL operational processes (incident, problem, change, configuration)
  • Experience with Cisco Meraki or similar cloud-managed networking
  • Experience supporting security systems and security operations, including SIEM
  • Strong documentation, troubleshooting, and customer-service skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Bachelor’s degree requirement and hands-on cloud/SaaS administration experience in an Apple-centric environment
