Job Summary
Senior Clinical Trial Manager available for a contract role leading global study operations in Clinical Operations. Responsible for end-to-end operational management of clinical trials or geographical programs, vendor/CRO oversight, site coordination, budgeting and forecasting, data-delivery coordination (CRFs, monitoring plans), and cross-functional collaboration with Data Management and other teams. Leads study teams, provides strategic direction, develops junior staff, and represents Clinical Operations at project meetings and external events. Must have strong knowledge of FDA/ICH/GCP guidelines, experience leading CROs and vendors, and the ability to travel 10-15% for program needs. The role emphasizes clinical trial lifecycle execution, vendor management, budgeting, and cross-functional leadership in a fast-paced small company environment. Salary range: 172K-199K.
Required Qualifications
- B.S./ B.A. in biological sciences, advanced degree preferred with 5-10 years of relevant industry experience
- Ability to travel as required for the program (10-15%)
- Demonstrated knowledge of FDA, ICH and GCP regulations and guidelines
- Experience in leading teams, including CROs, consultants and vendors
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills at a project level
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
