Job Summary
Senior Clinical Specialist role supporting electrophysiology (EP) products with advanced engineering, sales, educational and technical support for complex field inquiries from physicians, health care professionals, patients, and field staff. Provides senior clinical interface between medical community and business, mentors less experienced staff, leads trainings on EP products, contributes to market feedback and next-generation product planning, and conducts regional EP procedural case coverage. Requires deep knowledge of EP products, regulatory awareness, and the ability to independently plan, organize and perform work while building credible customer relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Minimum of 1 year in previous position
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience (internal or external)
- Prior industry/competitive experience (if external)
- Solely dedicated to EP support
- IBHRE EP certified
- Ability to perform complex cases in EP solo
- Ability to mentor and train EP CS roles and CA CS roles on complex mapping cases
- Ability to conduct complex customer education events solo to sell the value proposition of the full EP portfolio
- Performs in top 1/2 of number of cases completed across clinical group at time of promotion in defined Region/Area
- Vaccination verification for COVID-19 as part of vendor credentialing requirements
- Ability to satisfy all vendor credentialing requirements
